Welcome to Base Skin Clinic. By booking an appointment or purchasing from us, you agree to the following terms. These exist to keep things fair and professional for both our clients and our team.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Business Information — Base Skin Clinic. ABN: 77 348 321 085. Location: 17 Charles Street, South Perth WA 6151. Contact: baseskinclinicperth@gmail.com. We offer professional skin, brow, and lash treatments. All services are provided by trained and qualified therapists. Results can vary between individuals.

Booking Policy — Bookings can be made via our website, email or in person. A deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be applied to your treatment on the day. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred if our Cancellation Policy (below) is met. Minimum age for treatments is 18, unless accompanied by a parent/guardian who provides written consent.

Treatment Consent & Safety — You must provide accurate and complete information about your health, medications, and skin history before treatment. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable. Possible side effects, downtime, and risks will be discussed during your consultation. Clients are responsible for following all pre- and post-treatment care instructions.

Payment & Pricing — Payment is required in full on the day of your treatment. We accept EFTPOS, cash, and Afterpay. An EFTPOS surcharge applies, pay in cash to avoid this fee. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice. Promotions and packages are non-transferable and may have expiry dates.

Refunds & Returns — We do not offer refunds for change of mind. Refunds will only be given where required under Australian Consumer Law. Retail products may be exchanged or refunded if faulty, please retain proof of purchase.

Gift Vouchers — Valid for 3 years from purchase unless otherwise stated. Not redeemable for cash. Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.

Website Use — All content on our website (including text, images, and logo) is owned by Base Skin Clinic and cannot be copied or reproduced without permission. We strive to keep information accurate but make no guarantees that all content is error-free. Our website may contain links to third-party sites; we are not responsible for their content.

Liability — All treatments are performed to the highest professional standards, but individual results cannot be guaranteed. Base Skin Clinic is not liable for adverse reactions if pre- and post-care instructions are not followed. Treatments are undertaken at your own risk.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand plans change, but late cancellations and missed appointments affect our ability to care for other clients. This policy helps us manage our schedule fairly and keep offering quality service to everyone.

72+ hours’ notice: No charge. Cancel or reschedule freely.

48–72 hours’ notice: A fee of 50% of the scheduled treatment cost (or your deposit, whichever applies) will be charged.

Less than 48 hours’ notice: A fee of $100, or forfeiture of your deposit, will apply.

No-shows: Failure to attend will result in the full cost of the scheduled treatment being charged, as this time was set aside for you and could not be offered to another client.

Deposits — A deposit is required for selected treatments and packages. This is redeemed against your treatment cost on the day, provided you attend as scheduled.

Exceptions — We understand genuine emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible at baseskinclinicperth@gmail.com, one-time exceptions may be considered at the clinic’s discretion.

Base Skin Clinic (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your personal information, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). By using our services or visiting our website, you agree to the practices below.

Information We Collect — Contact details (name, phone, email, address), booking details (treatment type, dates, payment info), health information (medical history, skin concerns, allergies, medications, only as relevant to treatment), transaction details, and website usage data (IP address, browser type, cookies).

How We Collect It — When you book in person, by phone, or online; complete a consultation or consent form; join our mailing list; purchase products or vouchers; or use our website or social media.

How We Use It — To provide and manage treatments, send booking confirmations and reminders, process payments, maintain treatment history, send marketing (only if you opt in), and improve our services and website.

Marketing Communications — We may send email or SMS marketing if you’ve opted in. Unsubscribe any time via the link in an email or by replying “STOP” to an SMS.

Disclosure — We never sell or rent your personal information. We may share it with service providers (booking software, payment processors), health professionals if referral or follow-up is required, or government/regulatory authorities if required by law.

Storing & Protecting Your Information — Stored securely in password-protected systems and locked premises. We retain client records for the period required by law, then securely destroy them.

Website & Cookies — Our website may use cookies to enhance browsing and analyse traffic. Cookies don’t personally identify you but help us improve site performance. You can disable cookies in your browser, though this may affect functionality.
